Wonderware and SAP
Wonderware enjoys a strong relationship with SAP in the area of plant-to-business integration.
In February 2006, Wonderware achieved "Powered by SAP NetWeaver®" certification status, which was attained through successful certification of two new plant-to-business integration solutions. The first is Wonderware's Business Package for Process Performance Analysis 60.1 integrated with the SAP® NetWeaver Portal. The second is the combination of the Wonderware® Enterprise Integration Application (v2.0) and the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI)-based Content Package for Order Processing 30.1 integrated with SAP® ECC 5.0. This certification also is part of the SAP certification program for ISA-95-based manufacturing interoperability.
Business Package with XI Content for SAP
The Business Package for XI content for SAP ECC 5.0 provides a standards-based integration scenario using ISA-95 industry-standard messages for communicating with a manufacturing system. The Wonderware Enterprise Integration Application can dispatch process orders to any MES system. After production execution, the Wonderware Enterprise Integration Application then responds to the Production Schedule with meaningful data so that the ERP system can update its repositories accordingly. The Wonderware application uses ISA-95 B2MML production-performance messages to update the SAP software on information related to production performance.

Business Package for Process Performance Analysis
The Business Package for Wonderware Process Performance Analysis provides access to information gathered during production execution after production schedule release. With this business package, detailed real-time information from Wonderware's plant historian is available through the SAP Enterprise Portal for immediate process analysis and decision support.
Wonderware's Process Performance Analysis Solution enables the plant manager to significantly improve plant performance by turning accurate process data into valuable information. With the rich trending capabilities and easy-to-understand charts, plant personnel can improve plant performance through an integrated information system that links real-time and historical plant data to plant decision-makers and their support personnel.
The Wonderware Process Performance Analysis Solution can:
