The Industrial Application Server is the core application development and supervisory control platform for the Wonderware product line. It provides a unified environment for visualization, plant history, device communications and automation application integration.

The Industrial Application Server also introduces a new era in engineering productivity and scalability for industrial automation applications. It provides a new level of real-time data acquisition, alarm and event management, data manipulation services and collaborative engineering capabilities that have been designed from the ground up for use in industrial automation applications. The Industrial Application Server is an infrastructure for simplifying the development, deployment, maintenance and administration of distributed automation applications.
