Leveraging the Powerful Wonderware System Platform
As a natural extension of the logical plant model within the Wonderware® System Platform, any application built using the Equipment Performance Module can automatically re-use all of the services found in the powerful Wonderware System Platform. This is possible as a result of ArchestrA® technology, which can drastically reduce the complexity, risks and costs associated with engineering custom integrations -- particularly those in which applications are designed and built with the intent to improve equipment operations.
Naturally Evolve Your Plant Model
Not only are the application object templates found in the Wonderware Equipment Performance Module a natural evolution of the capabilities in the Wonderware System Platform. They also support change propagation so that a modification in one of the templates can be automatically propagated throughout the application, reducing the risks associated with application changes and saving valuable engineering time.
The information stored within the Equipment Performance Module is inherently related to the relevant physical equipment represented in the plant model in the Wonderware System Platform. The result is valuable contextual information, which significantly reduces the application engineering required to collect and analyze formula parameters as well as product and production history.
